Warehouse Transfer Driver - Medical Equipment
Location: New Hope, MN Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Transfer Driver to support our distribution operations. This role is responsible for transferring medical equipment, supplies, and inventory between our New Hope corporate distribution hub, additional distribution centers, and retail locations.
The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, has strong organizational skills, and is committed to providing excellent service while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This position combines driving responsibilities with warehouse support duties to help maintain efficient operations across multiple locations.
You will operate a company-owned overhead cab box truck equipped with a lift gate . A valid DOT Medical Certificate is required ; no CDL endorsements are necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport equipment, supplies, and inventory between the New Hope corporate distribution hub, distribution centers, and retail locations.
Operate a company box truck with lift gate in accordance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and inventory safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate delivery and transfer documentation.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, and organizing inventory when not making transfers.
Work collaboratively with CHM management and team members.
Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Represent CHM professionally and support customer satisfaction.
Assist with resolving customer concerns as they arise.
Maximize warehouse space and keep storage areas clean and organized.
Ensure inventory is stored logically and can be located quickly.
Maintain clear warehouse docks and follow all safety procedures.
Keep work areas neat, orderly, and safe.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Current DOT Medical Certificate required.
Previous delivery driving, warehouse, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
Experience operating box trucks preferred.
No CDL endorsements required.
Willingness to attend vendor and company training, including DME courses.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Basic computer skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong motivation and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
Frequent driving, entering/exiting vehicle, walking, and climbing stairs.
Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, and grasping.
Ability to lift, transport, and set up equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with proper technique.
Regular travel to hospitals, clinics, and residential properties.

Forklifts and electric pallet jacks

Standard packaging tools and materials
Working Conditions
This position requires working in both warehouse and driving environments and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles. The role involves:
Daily driving between company facilities and retail locations
Standing for extended periods
Frequent lifting and movement of equipment up to 100 lbs
Loading and unloading inventory and medical equipment
Using computers and mechanical devices
Maintaining focus despite interruptions
Following DOT and company safety requirements
Wearing steel-toed footwear
