Key Responsibilities
- Interview clients, review case histories, and administer standardized psychological or neuropsychological tests to evaluate cognitive function and emotional status.
- Develop tailored, evidence based therapeutic programs (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) suited to a patient's needs.
- Conduct individual, group, or family therapy sessions to help clients achieve their personal, educational, or vocational goals.
- Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other allied healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care.
- Evaluate counseling effectiveness, conduct scientific studies.
Requirements
- Familiarity with all psychoeducational and diagnostic instruments.
- Work with children, adults and families.
