Job Summary
The Clinic Receptionist provides customer service and supports the daily administrative operations of the clinic.
The role includes welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, maintaining records, and protecting confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare providers.
- Register patients and verify personal, insurance, and billing information.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and departments to support patient flow.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and prepare daily cash and card collection reports.
- Manage correspondence, documents, and referrals.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations.
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean and organized.
- Report patient concerns, complaints, and operational issues to the Clinic Supervisor.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or clinic receptionist experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
Workplace and Reporting
- The work location is in person at the clinic.
- The position reports to the Clinic Supervisor.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 3,000 per month.
