The Driver is responsible for safe, timely transportation while maintaining professionalism, safety, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers or materials as assigned
- Follow routes and adjust as needed
- Complete vehicle inspections and report issues
- Maintain professionalism and safety at all times
- Follow all company policies and TX/state regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Basic vehicle safety knowledge
- Flexible availability for as-needed scheduling
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation
- Strong customer service skills
- General understanding of mental health conditions, substance use, and the impact of co-occurring disorders.
- Basic knowledge of the use and misuse of alcohol and other substances.
- Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality standards.
- Preferred candidates should demonstrate problem-solving skills, and strong professional boundaries.
- Must be respectful and responsive to religious, ethnic, cultural, and individual differences in client care and team interactions.
