Join a Team That Changes Lives

At Sunshine Behavioral Health, we believe recovery begins with hope—and often, that hope starts with a single phone call.

We are seeking a compassionate, results-driven Admissions Coordinator with a strong inside sales background to help individuals and families take the first step toward recovery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building meaningful relationships over the phone, and is passionate about connecting people with life-changing behavioral health services.

As an Admissions Coordinator, you will serve as a trusted guide throughout the admissions process, helping prospective clients understand their treatment options while ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support. While this is a sales-focused position with monthly performance goals, our priority is always doing what is best for our clients.

What You'll Do

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and their families.

Conduct comprehensive phone screenings to determine eligibility for treatment.

Assess client needs and guide them through the admissions process.

Coordinate insurance benefit verification with the billing department.

Arrange transportation and manage all pre-admission logistics.

Process client payments and ensure financial information is accurately documented.

Maintain accurate records and documentation within Salesforce CRM.

Collaborate with clinical, medical, and operations teams to ensure a seamless admission experience.

Respond professionally to client concerns and coordinate resolutions with appropriate departments.

Document significant client interactions and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Provide aftercare referrals when appropriate.

Meet or exceed monthly admissions and performance goals.

Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of inside sales experience (telemarketing, admissions, phone sales, or similar).
  • Minimum of 2 years of substance abuse or behavioral health admissions experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, ethical client care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education or experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or addiction services.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and behavioral health treatment programs.

Why Sunshine Behavioral Health?

At Sunshine Behavioral Health, you'll join a mission-driven organization where every conversation has the potential to change a life. We invest in our employees by providing a supportive culture, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.
