Role Overview
The Client Relationship Manager will build and maintain relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
The role drives retention, cross-selling, referrals, client satisfaction, and achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, understand insurance requirements, and provide suitable solutions covering policies, premiums, renewals, and claims.
- Handle enquiries, complaints, servicing, renewals, modifications, cancellations, and client reviews.
- Identify additional business opportunities, monitor retention, and support a minimum 95% client retention target.
- Coordinate policy issuance and servicing with Underwriting, Claims, Customer Service, and other internal teams.
- Monitor overdue premiums, coordinate collections, and keep clients informed about products, changes, renewals, and regulatory updates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and provide management updates on client trends, market opportunities, and competition.
- Escalate complex issues, monitor KPIs and service standards, improve processes, and maintain audit-ready records.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum five to seven years of UAE experience in an insurance broker or insurance company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as Cert CII, DIP CII, or AIII are advantageous.
- Strong exposure to Group Medical and Life Insurance is required.
- Property and Casualty knowledge, including Marine and Motor Insurance, is advantageous.
- A valid UAE driving licence is required.
