About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, up to date ledgers for a portfolio of client companies
- Handle bank reconciliations, expense categorization, and invoicing using accounting software
- Prepare and file VAT Returns (5%) for clients
- Assist in the preparation of Corporate Tax filings (9%)
- Register new clients for TRN and Corporate Tax with the FTA
- Generate monthly or quarterly financial statements for clients
- Identify discrepancies in client accounts and resolve them proactively
- Create financial reports on real estate properties and investments
- Answer technical queries regarding deductible expenses under UAE law
- Coordinate with Legal Operations team to ensure financial records match legal structure
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience specifically in the UAE
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- ACCA/CPA/CMA part qualified or qualified is a plus
- Mastery of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT Law and the new Corporate Tax Law
- English: Must be fluent
- Spanish: A huge bonus

The Role
- We are looking for a meticulous Accountant to manage the financial records and tax compliance for a portfolio of our client companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, up to date ledgers for a portfolio of client companies (mostly SMEs and holding structures).
- Handle bank reconciliations, expense categorization, and invoicing using accounting software Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho.
- Ensure all records are audit ready at any given time.
- Prepare and file VAT Returns (5%) for clients, ensuring all input/output tax is calculated correctly to avoid fines.
- Assist in the preparation of Corporate Tax filings (9%), ensuring clients understand their liabilities and exemptions.
- Register new clients for TRN (Tax Registration Numbers) and Corporate Tax with the FTA.
- Generate monthly or quarterly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) for clients to review.
- Identify discrepancies or 'red flags' in client accounts and resolve them proactively.
- Create financial reports on real estate properties and investments based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Answer technical queries regarding what is a deductible expense versus what is not under UAE law.
- Coordinate with the Legal Operations team to ensure financial records match the company’s legal structure.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience specifically in the UAE.
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. (ACCA/CPA/CMA part qualified or qualified is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks); Strong knowledge of UAE VAT Law and the new Corporate Tax Law.
- Languages: English: Must be fluent; Spanish: A huge bonus.
