Role Overview
Civil Site Engineer responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure development for National Guard housing projects.
The role covers site development from earthworks through utility installations and requires compliance with engineering drawings, safety protocols, project timelines, and military housing standards.
Site Engineering and Construction
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design documents.
- Supervise and inspect grading, drainage, water, sewer, electricity, and road works on site.
- Ensure construction activities comply with local codes, regulations, engineering drawings, safety protocols, and military standards.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams to ensure integrated site execution.
Planning, Monitoring, and Records
- Develop detailed work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor daily site operations and report progress to the Project Manager.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, labor logs, material usage, and inspection reports.
Safety, Quality, and Coordination
- Enforce safety regulations and participate in safety audits.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure construction meets project specifications and standards.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during reviews and site inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in civil or site engineering.
- Experience in military, government, or institutional housing projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
