Civil/ Mechanical Project Engineer

Experience: 3-5 years

We are looking for a Civil/ Mechanical Project Engineer with hands-on experience in construction projects and strong knowledge of site execution.

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Carry out and coordinate surveying and setting-out works.
• Manage earthwork, excavation, backfilling, grading and compaction activities.
• Ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and daily site progress.
• Check quantities and assist with BOQ measurements and site progress reports.
• Ensure proper quality control and safe working practices at site.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain site records.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager for timely resolution.
• Monitor project schedule and ensure activities are completed within the planned timeline.

• Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
• Good knowledge of surveying and setting-out.
• Practical experience in earthwork and excavation activities.
• Knowledge of concrete, foundations, masonry, waterproofing and general civil works.
• Ability to read and understand civil drawings, BOQ and specifications.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage site activities independently.

• UAE/GCC construction experience.
• Knowledge of site surveying equipment such as Total Station and Auto Level.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
