About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct tests to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications, including civil and structural tests
- Perform destructive and nondestructive tests on metals and other materials
- Perform surveillance of underground piping to ensure tightness, bedding, and grade
- Inspect and monitor piling installation to ensure location and bearing
- Validate piping systems, including P&ID checks and hydraulic or other pressure tests
- Inspect electrical installations to ensure proper grounding, circuit integrity, and adherence to regulations
- Perform continuing inspection of painting and insulation to ensure thickness and coverage continuity
- Provide general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship
- Verify equipment alignment and balancing operations
- Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures
- Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports
- May administer welder qualification tests
Requirements
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering discipline or construction related field, or high school diploma with equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related experience and technical qualification in construction and supervision of Irrigation work, Landscaping works & Infrastructure works
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Proficiency with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software
- Recent experience in Irrigation works in the Emirate of Dubai will be added advantage

- The role involves performing difficult and sometimes complex inspection tasks on construction sites.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conducts tests to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.
