- Ensure that all construction works are performed in strict accordance with the plans and specifications
- Inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, plans, specifications and workmanship standards
- Coordinate daily with the contractor’s foreman and report non conformances, questionable methods or deviations to the ARE/RE
- Process and track Inspection Requests (IRs) and maintain records of approvals, rejections, and follow ups
- Coordinate sampling and testing activities with discipline inspectors and laboratories; support QA/QC verification of suspect materials
- Coordinate with surveyors to verify line, level, and grade for ongoing and completed works
- Maintain detailed daily site diaries/logs including activities, issues, approved/rejected work, manpower and equipment records
- Support quantity measurements and records for Day Works where applicable
- Interface professionally with stakeholders adjacent to the works to minimize construction impacts
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and actively promote safe work practices on site
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure construction supervision
- Strong ability to interpret and enforce engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Excellent inspection, reporting and documentation skills
- Computer literacy with experience using reporting and project management systems
- Good communication and coordination skills within a site based construction environment

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector to join our Construction Supervision team on a major infrastructure assignment involving stormwater works, pump stations and utilities.
- In this role, you will perform inspection activities, coordinate testing and verification works and maintain detailed site records to ensure construction is delivered in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.
What You'll Be Doing

What Required Skills You'll Bring
