- Coordinate with surveyors to check line and grade of work
- Report questionable methods of operation to ARE or RE
- Process Inspection Requests and maintain records
- Maintain detailed records of work performed on a Day Works basis
- Participate in health and safety issues at site
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in road/infrastructure construction supervision
- Ability to read working drawings and related specifications
- Computer literate with ability to use project specific software
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Civil Inspector to join the team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The role involves monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, and documentation of road and infrastructure works.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure all construction works are performed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.
- Maintain a detailed diary of day’s work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, etc.
- Interface with the public and stakeholders adjacent to the work to mitigate construction impacts.
- Coordinate with the contractor’s foreman on proper execution of work.
- Coordinate with other discipline inspectors for sampling and testing.
- Coordinate with surveyors to check line and grade of work.
- Report questionable methods of operation by the Contractor to ARE or RE.
- Process Inspection Requests and maintain records of their status.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed on a Day Works basis.
- Act positively and participate in health and safety issues at site.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in road/infrastructure construction supervision and general dry utilities projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
- Ability to read working drawings and related specifications, and capable of enforcing such specifications.
- Fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc.
- Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
