Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and finishing tender documents
- Perform quantity take offs for concrete, reinforcement, excavation, backfilling, masonry, finishing, and infrastructure works
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates including labor, materials, plant, equipment, and subcontractors
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyze project risks and market conditions
- Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions
- Participate in value engineering exercises
- Maintain updated cost databases and historical project records
- Raise RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications
- Support project teams during project handover and execution
Requirements
- Experience in civil estimation for construction projects
- Knowledge of quantity take offs for concrete, reinforcement, excavation, etc.
- Ability to prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, plant, and equipment
- Experience with tender submissions and value engineering
