- Strong understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Effective communication and report writing skills
- Proven ability to work on site, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems
- Professional certification or registration is an advantage

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Civil Engineer role based in the Riyadh Region.
- The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects in alignment with local regulations and SHAR’s quality standards.
- Daily responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and technical reports, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and performing site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and structural requirements.
- The role also involves contributing to stormwater management solutions, reviewing contractor work, and assisting in resolving technical issues during project execution.
- The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to infrastructure and construction projects.
- Planning skills to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for civil works.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related drainage systems to design effective and compliant solutions.
- Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or registration is an advantage.
- Proficiency with relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of local building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Saudi Arabia.
