Role Overview

Onycon Infrastructure is hiring a Civil Engineer Fresher or Trainee for infrastructure projects and daily civil activities at its Mumbai suburban head office.

The role provides hands-on exposure to project planning, execution monitoring, quantity measurement, billing, material reconciliation, and project documentation.

Freshers receive initial training and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand drawings, BOQs, specifications, and work scope and assist with plans, schedules, targets, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor actual progress, collect site data, track quantities, and report delays, variations, and execution issues.
  • Measure executed work, prepare measurement sheets and quantity statements, assist with joint measurements, and verify subcontractor measurements.
  • Assist with client RA bills, calculate quantities, check supporting documents, and follow up on submission and certification.
  • Check and process subcontractor bills and resolve quantity or billing discrepancies.
  • Track steel, cement, concrete, and aggregates and prepare monthly material reconciliation statements.

Requirements

  • Freshers or candidates with 1–10 months of construction firm experience as a trainee or intern may apply.
  • B.Tech or B.E. in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Computer literacy and communication skills are required.
  • Applicants must work with AutoCAD or have completed an AutoCAD course.
  • Applicants should reside in Mumbai or Mumbai suburban areas.

Schedule and Employment

  • The position is full-time and permanent according to the description.
  • Working hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with Sundays fixed off.
  • The first three months are described as an internship period before permanent employment.

Compensation

  • Pay is ₹16,000–₹17,000 per month.

Workplace

  • The role works from the office in person at Mumbai Suburban, Andheri West.
