Role Overview
Onycon Infrastructure is hiring Civil Engineers for billing and planning work in heavy civil and infrastructure construction.
The opportunity is open to freshers and candidates with 1 month to 10 months of construction firm experience.
The role is based at the head office in Mumbai and requires work from the office.
Freshers will initially receive training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare measurement sheets and detailed Running Account bills from site data and drawings.
- Verify and process subcontractor bills based on completed work and contract terms.
- Prepare subcontractor bills, client billing documents, and work orders.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation statements for materials including steel and cement.
- Conduct joint measurements with client representatives or consultants.
- Identify and obtain approval for extra or non-tender items outside the original BOQ.
- Study BOQs and technical specifications to align billing with contract terms.
- Maintain bills, measurement books, and material delivery records.
- Coordinate bill certification with clients and consultants.
- Liaise with internal accounts staff regarding timely payment receipt.
Requirements
- Freshers or candidates with 1 to 10 months of construction firm experience as a trainee or intern.
- Bachelor's degree or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of billing engineering, quantity estimation, project billing, BBS, BOQ, rate analysis, and reconciliation.
- Understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software such as AutoCAD and MS Projects.
- Analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, independent working, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Applicants should reside in Mumbai or Mumbai Suburban.
Workplace
- Location is Mumbai, specifically Andheri West, and work is in person.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹19,000 to ₹20,000 per month.
