Role Overview
Plan, design, supervise, and manage civil engineering projects.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Coordinate stakeholders, review technical specifications, and provide engineering expertise throughout project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, and site activities to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Evaluate project risks and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Support procurement by reviewing technical submittals and material specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is an advantage.
Experience
- Five to ten years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or project management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera P6, MS Project, and engineering software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and international engineering standards.
