Civil/ Electrical Design Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support design and development of solar farms, onshore wind projects, and telecom projects.
• Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, and cable routing plans.
• Develop solar PV designs covering inverter positioning, string sizing, and earthing arrangements.
• Assist with energy yield, noise, glint and glare, feasibility, and system performance assessments.
• Coordinate with technical and planning teams and participate in site visits and surveys.
• Stay current with relevant standards, codes of practice, and industry developments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering or a related discipline.
• Two to four years of relevant electrical design experience.
• Experience in solar, wind, or telecom projects is desirable.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; PVSyst and ETAP familiarity is advantageous.
• Understanding of AC/DC systems, solar PV, inverters, transformers, earthing systems, renewable energy standards, grid connection principles, and electrical safety codes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, teamwork, and communication abilities.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with hybrid power systems combining solar, battery, and grid systems.
• Familiarity with mapping and site layout planning.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or in a team.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month.
