- Verify compliance of designs with approved standards, codes, and project requirements
- Review technical specifications and ensure consistency with drawings and contracts
- Identify design gaps, conflicts, or constructability issues
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, statutory regulations, and approvals
- Verify implementation of quality management systems (ISO, project QA/QC plans)
- Confirm compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Identify technical and regulatory risks
- Prepare structured audit reports, findings, and recommendations
- Maintain audit records, evidence logs, and compliance matrices
- Present audit findings to senior management and project stakeholders
- Track closure of audit observations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or technical auditing
- Professional registration with Saudi Council of Engineers (non negotiable)
- Familiarity with quality management systems and audit procedures
- Must have Engineering Consultancy experience (Site Based Engineers will not be considered)

Role Summary
- The Civil Design Auditing Engineer is responsible for reviewing, assessing, and validating building permit applications and associated technical submissions from engineering offices to ensure full compliance with approved planning regulations, building codes, engineering standards, and statutory aut
- The role provides independent technical assurance that proposed developments meet safety, zoning, design, and regulatory criteria prior to permit issuance, supporting compliant development and risk mitigation across the built environment.
Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Work Environment
- The role involves working in Amanah Al Riyadh offices and project sites as required.
- Occasional travel and extended working hours may be needed to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
