- Work with manufacturers, suppliers, research institutes, and technical experts to gather information and validate new technologies
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior engineering teams
- Compare local engineering practices with international standards and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support innovation initiatives by identifying products and solutions that improve project delivery and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related discipline
- Experience in the MEP, construction, engineering consultancy, or building technology industry
- Current or previous experience in R&D, Product Development, Technical Innovation, Engineering Excellence, Technical Services, or Technical Strategy
- Mandarin speaker with strong English communication skills
- Ability to analyse technical information and prepare professional reports

About the Role
- We are looking for a Mandarin speaking engineering professional with experience in the MEP or building services industry who has moved into Research & Development, Technical Innovation, Product Development, or Engineering Excellence.
- This position focuses on researching new engineering technologies, innovative products, advanced materials, and modern design solutions used in China.
- You will work closely with an international engineering team to identify practical innovations that can improve project quality, efficiency, sustainability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Preferred Background

- Current or previous experience in: Research & Development, Product Development, Technical Innovation, Engineering Excellence, Technical Services, Technical Strategy, Design Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering products, systems, and technologies.
- Ability to analyse technical information and prepare professional reports.
- Mandarin speaker with strong English communication skills.
