Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnostic activities on chillers, FCU, AHU, and ventilation systems.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and purification.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Perform routine tests such as leak detection, system pressure verification, and nitrogen charging.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklists, and forms.
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours.

Position Overview
- Chiller Technician (2 positions) for Qatar District Cooling Company in Doha, Qatar.
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate.
- Male applicants only.
- Minimum 5 years working experience.
Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnostic activities on chillers, FCU, AHU, and ventilation systems.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, recycling, and purification.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Perform routine tests such as leak detection, system pressure verification, and nitrogen charging.
- Perform routine chiller maintenance including condenser and evaporator end covers opening and closing, support heat exchanger chemical cleaning, swabbing, ECT.
- Perform refrigerant transfer, reclaim, oil extract from refrigerant.
- Perform refrigerant recycling and purification activity and support managing, handling, and storing refrigerants and inert gas.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, thermography, and other predictive maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and cleaning heat exchanger tubes.
- Monitor and log key operating parameters.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklists, and forms.
