Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security rounds of the plant
- Conduct thorough safety inspections of assigned area
- Respond to emergencies such as equipment failures, fires, or spills
- Issue, review, or verify Permit to Work (PTW) system
- Perform LOTO, changeover, or shutdown equipment
- Visually inspect critical equipment for damage, leaks, or abnormal operation
- Monitor key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate)
- Initiate startup or shutdown procedures following checklists
- Prepare detailed shift handover report and conduct handover meeting
- Work on optimizing plant performance by analyzing system data
- Respond to alarms and take corrective actions
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, replacing gaskets

Key Responsibilities
- Raise SO in CMMS when found during shift.
- Conduct regular security rounds of the plant, checking for unauthorized personnel or security breaches.
- Conduct a thorough safety inspection of the assigned area, including equipment, PPE, and emergency exits.
- Ensure all safety signage is visible and up to date.
- Respond to emergencies, such as equipment failures, fires, or spills.
- Issue, review, or verify the Permit to Work (PTW) system for maintenance and operational activities.
- Perform LOTO, changeover or shutdown equipment. Isolate equipment for handover to maintenance.
- Visually inspect critical equipment (pumps, valves, chillers, etc.) for any signs of damage, leaks, or abnormal operation.
- Check lubrication levels and perform routine lubrication as needed.
- Monitor key process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.).
- Initiate the startup procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.
- If required, initiate the shutdown procedure for assigned systems, following established checklists and procedures.
Additional Duties
- Refer to alarm screen at the equipment panel. Monitor and raise info to CCC Operators for any anomalies.
- Prepare a detailed shift handover report, including any ongoing issues, maintenance requirements, and abnormal events.
- Conduct a handover 'shake hand' handover meeting to ensure proper baton passing.
- Work on optimizing plant performance by analyzing system data and making minor adjustments to improve efficiency or reduce energy consumption. Coordination with CCC Operators.
- Respond to any alarms or alerts and take necessary corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing gaskets, or tightening bolts.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues, such as valve leaks or pump vibrations.
- Raise SR (or relay the info to CCC Operator in charge) in CMMS according to the right priority.
- Ensure that the water treatment system is operating correctly, monitoring chemical levels, and ensuring that water quality parameters are within specified limits.
- Provide information and update from the field to CCC Operator to maintain accurate and up to date records in the Daily Operation Report (DOR).
- Occasionally attend site visits by visitors or contractors.
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the Plant Operations Supervisor.
