Job Purpose

  • Acts as the primary business partner for the Gold & Base Metal business, ensuring all domains deliver tangible value across current Gold operations, including future base metal ops and positioning Maaden as the world’s leading technology enabled miner.
  • Works closely with Domain Integrators and Chief Specialists to tailor domain solutions to Gold specific operational, geological, and economic contexts.
  • Ensures alignment of KPIs, value outcomes, and initiatives impacting the Gold & Base metals business.
  • Create alignment with the Business Unit senior leadership and the capital projects teams to get the alignment of how the TechOps Domains will be influenced and influence the delivery of value from the domain.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate Gold / Base Metal Business Alignment: Drive the delivery; represent & collate the Gold / Base Metal business priorities, KPIs, and value objectives in domain level initiatives; ensure domain solutions reflect Gold operational realities, risk profiles, and performance drivers; act as the s
  • Partner with Domain Integrators and Chief Specialists: Work with Domain Integrators to translate domain objectives into Gold specific initiatives and use cases; collaborate with Chief Specialists to shape solutions that address Gold & Base metal business needs, aligned with the Full Potential team;
  • Govern Value, KPIs, and Initiative Coherence: Ensure initiatives impacting the Domains align with agreed KPIs, value targets, and investment priorities for the BMNM Domain Mission and annual objectives; support prioritization and sequencing to maximize Gold & Base metal value realization; track and
  • Enable Adoption and Value Realization: Support development of technology enablement requirements from different platforms; ensure alignment of processes, operating models, and performance management to mature Operational excellence contribution to the TechOps enablement program; act as a trusted adv

Minimum Qualification, Experience And Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Operations, or Business.
  • 12+ years’ experience in Gold/Base Metal operations or business roles.
  • Strong understanding of mining operating models and economic drivers.
  • Experience supporting cross functional or technology enabled initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate across business units and specialist teams.
