About the Role
EDTECH4D is seeking a Chief Radar Systems Scientist to lead the development of next-generation radar systems for defense applications. The role involves defining radar architecture, overseeing signal processing, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced radar systems, including AESA, PESA, SAR, and ISAR technologies
- Define radar system architecture and oversee RF front end, waveform design, and signal processing development
- Develop advanced detection, tracking, classification, and interference mitigation algorithms
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the complete product lifecycle
- Oversee prototype development, system integration, testing, validation, and operational deployment
- Manage technical roadmaps, project budgets, timelines, and cross functional stakeholder coordination
Requirements
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Radar Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Physics, or a related field (MSc considered with exceptional experience)
- 15+ years of experience in defense or aerospace R&D with proven leadership in large scale engineering programs
- 5–7+ years in senior technical leadership roles such as Chief Scientist, Technical Director, Head of R&D, or Program Lead
- Extensive expertise in radar system architecture, RF/microwave engineering, antenna systems, and digital signal processing (MTI, CFAR, beamforming)
- Strong experience in target tracking, signal processing, electronic interference mitigation, and radar system integration
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex defense systems from concept to deployment
