A leading healthcare organization is seeking a highly experienced
Chief Medical Officer (Cmo)
to lead clinical operations and ensure excellence in patient care.
Job Purpose
To provide medical leadership, ensure the highest standards of clinical quality and patient safety, and align medical strategies with organizational goals and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical departments and medical staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (CBAHI, MOH, etc.)
- Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and best practices
- Monitor clinical performance, patient outcomes, and quality indicators
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning
- Lead recruitment, credentialing, and evaluation of medical staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care
- Support medical operations across multiple services (Radiology, Laboratory, Clinics, Home Care)
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD or equivalent)
- Valid Saudi license (SCFHS)
- Board Certification in a relevant specialty
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred
Experience
- 10–15 years of clinical experience
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Medical Director / CMO)
- Experience in multi-specialty healthcare settings
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinking and healthcare management expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Ability to lead change and drive performance improvement
