Chief Integration Architect

Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme: the central integration layer, adapters to SAP and non-SAP systems, connectivity to the accredited service provider, interfaces to the reconciliation platform, and the security and deployment views.

You are the technical authority who takes the design through the client’s architecture review board.

• Author the solution architecture document, solution design document (SDD) and integration/API design specifications; obtain approval from the client’s architecture/design review board and security function.
• Design the central integration layer — ingestion, orchestration, validation (PINT-AE/UBL), status tracking, ERP write-back and managed file transfer services — as cloud-native services on Kubernetes within the client’s private cloud / Azure tenant.
• Define integration patterns and standards (REST/SOAP/OData, IDoc/BAPI, events and queues, webhooks, polling, SFTP/MFT) exposed through enterprise API gateways (Azure API Management / webMethods) with mutual TLS and OAuth 2.0/OIDC.
• Lead requirements-confirmation workshops with AR, AP, tax and IT stakeholders across entity groups; own the interface catalogue and canonical data model.
• Ensure conformance with the client’s reference architecture and anti-pattern rules (no point-to-point integrations, no hard-coded credentials, no database-to-database access) and with non-functional requirements (throughput, latency, resilience, observability, performance at scale).
• Define the environment strategy (Dev/QA/UAT/Pre-prod/Prod), platform-service requirements and infrastructure-as-code approach; act as technical recovery lead in the BC/DR plan.
• Technically lead and review the SAP, non-SAP, ASP-connectivity and reconciliation-platform leads; run design and code reviews for architectural compliance.

• 12+ years in enterprise integration / solution architecture, including 5+ years as lead architect for integration platforms in SAP-centric landscapes.
• Deep expertise in API-led and event-driven integration, API management (Azure APIM, webMethods or similar), messaging/queues, MFT and cloud-native deployment (Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, IaC).
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration surfaces (OData, IDoc, BAPI/RFC, SAP Integration Suite/BTP or PI/PO) and non-SAP ERP integration (Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP).
• Working knowledge of UBL/EN 16931-based eInvoicing standards and the Peppol 4/5-corner model; UAE PINT-AE and FTA eInvoicing framework knowledge strongly preferred.
• Experience with enterprise IAM (Microsoft Entra ID, SAML 2.0/OIDC, SCIM), SIEM log integration, secrets management and zero-trust integration security.
• Ability to write and defend architecture at review-board level; excellent English documentation skills.

Nice to have

• TOGAF or equivalent; Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Experience with tax-clearance or B2B network integrations (Peppol, ZATCA, EDI).
• Exposure to AP automation / reconciliation platforms.
