Role Description
Lead the organization’s information security strategy and operations in a part-time, remote role.
Protect data, applications, and infrastructure while aligning security initiatives with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Assess security risks and oversee security controls and monitoring.
- Guide incident response and forensic analysis.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Manage security awareness programmes.
- Advise on secure architecture and technology choices.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Review security posture and prepare reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Expertise in information security and information security management.
- Strong knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, incident response, and security operations.
- Application security experience with secure development, code review, vulnerability management, and web and mobile application protection.
- Business continuity and disaster recovery experience for critical systems and services.
