Chief Financial Officer, IT Company, Qatar

We are seeking an accomplished chief financial officer to join a leading technology and digital infrastructure organisation based in Doha, Qatar.

The successful candidate will bring 15 to 20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally gained within the technology, ICT, digital services, cloud, data centre, telecommunications, managed services, or related sectors.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring a strong combination of financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, governance, and commercial acumen.

Key requirements are proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive within a technology driven or publicly listed organisation.

Extensive knowledge of public company governance, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements.

A strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, treasury, tax, and corporate finance.

Demonstrative experience managing high end preparation of cost pricing of major IT projects B2B ensuring attention to detail.

Deep understanding of internal controls, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance frameworks.

Working with regulators, external stakeholders, and listed company reporting obligations.

The ability to partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives, investment decisions, and operational performance.

To be eligible for this role you will need to hold a professional finance qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA or equivalent); MBA is desirable.

Fluent written and spoken English.

Arabic would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have operated within complex, high-growth technology environments and have successfully led finance functions supporting large-scale digital transformation, infrastructure, or enterprise service businesses.
