📍 Dubai, UAE (On-site)

At Orion, we are building one of the most ambitious companies in the prop trading industry.

With a fast-growing global user base, multi-jurisdiction operations, and an aggressive expansion roadmap ahead, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy of the business at the highest level.

Who We Are

Orion is a rapidly growing prop trading firm operating at the intersection of trading, technology, performance marketing, and global operations.

We are building a category-defining company with serious scale ambitions.

Our environment is fast, demanding, and execution-focused.

We move quickly, operate internationally, and think long term.

This is an opportunity to join at a stage where finance is not just support.

It is a core strategic lever for growth, control, expansion, and future corporate development.

Your Role At Orion

As CFO, you will own the company’s global financial strategy and lead all core finance functions across the group.

You will be responsible for financial planning, treasury, structuring, reporting, cash flow management, tax efficiency, internal controls, and strategic finance.

You will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to ensure the business is financially strong, operationally disciplined, and built for scale.

You will also play a key role in preparing Orion for future institutional growth, including stronger governance, tighter reporting, and long-term investor readiness.

Strategic Financial Leadership

Lead the company’s overall financial strategy in line with growth goals, international expansion, and group-wide operational complexity.

Drive forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, capital allocation, and decision support across the business.

Act as a strategic partner to the CEO on major business, legal, and structuring decisions.

Global Structuring And Financial Optimization

  • Design and optimize cross-border financial structures across entities, payment flows, and operating jurisdictions.
  • Work closely with legal and external advisors to improve tax efficiency, reduce structural risk, and support long-term scalability.
  • Ensure the finance function is built to support international growth without creating unnecessary friction or exposure.

Treasury And Cash Flow Management

  • Oversee treasury operations, liquidity planning, and multi-currency cash flow management across the group.
  • Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, and financial partners.
  • Implement strong controls around fund flows, reserves, payout planning, and operational finance.

Governance, Controls, and Compliance

Build robust reporting, control, and audit frameworks across the company.

Ensure the business maintains high standards in accounting, reconciliation, documentation, and financial governance.

Lead readiness for audits, external reviews, and increasing regulatory or institutional scrutiny as the company scales.

Growth, Transactions, and Corporate Readiness

Support future capital strategy, fundraising readiness, M&A evaluation, and potential corporate restructuring initiatives.

Prepare the business for stronger institutional standards over time, including board-level reporting, due diligence readiness, and finance maturity.

Help create the financial infrastructure required for a company that intends to become significantly larger.

Team Leadership And Operational Excellence

Lead and strengthen the finance function across accounting, treasury, reporting, payments, and internal controls.

Build a high-performance finance team with strong ownership, discipline, and speed.

Introduce systems, processes, and reporting standards that allow Orion to scale cleanly.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent senior finance credentials strongly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of senior finance experience, including significant leadership exposure as CFO, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or equivalent.
  • Strong background in fintech, brokerage, prop trading, payments, trading infrastructure, high-risk industries, or similarly complex international businesses.
  • Proven experience managing multi-entity and cross-border financial structures.
  • Strong command of treasury, cash flow management, forecasting, financial controls, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Experience working with high-volume transactions, international payment flows, and fast-growing businesses.
  • Strong understanding of tax structuring, compliance exposure, audit readiness, and financial risk management in global operations.
  • Ability to build from scratch, improve existing structures, and operate at both strategic and hands-on level.
  • Excellent leadership, judgment, and communication skills.

Why This Role Matters

This role is for someone who wants real ownership, real complexity, and real impact.

You will help shape the financial backbone of Orion during a critical growth stage, working directly with leadership on the decisions that will define the next phase of the company.

For the right person, this is a chance to build something serious inside a business with genuine scale ambitions, not just manage spreadsheets inside a stable corporate machine.
