Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting functions
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and operational efficiencies
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline (Master's preferred)
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or CIMA
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership position such as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance
- Proven experience leading finance functions within multinational organizations or diversified business groups

- Berkeley Middle East is looking for a highly accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting functions.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to maintain organizational stability.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.

Required Skills
- Exceptional leadership and strategic decision making abilities.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and business partnering skills.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial management software.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
