Responsibilities
- Manage all engineering/maintenance operations including building, grounds, and physical plant
- Manage budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation
- Maintain regulatory requirements and lead emergency response team for facility issues
- Assist in managing mechanical equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and fire safety systems
- Establish and manage effective guest room maintenance program
- Manage department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budget goals
- Select and order new equipment, supplies, and furnishings
- Inspect and evaluate physical condition of facilities to determine required work
- Recommend or arrange additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations
- Supervise daily operations of the Engineering department
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC R/electrical/plumbing
- OR 2 year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC R/electrical/plumbing
