Role Description
The Chief Digital Officer is a part-time, remote role leading the organization’s overall digital vision and roadmap.
The role focuses on digital initiatives that enhance investment promotion, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Define and update the digital strategy and align initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on digital initiatives.
- Prioritize and manage digital projects, performance metrics, progress, risks, and obstacles.
- Guide change management, promote innovation, and support digital capability building.
Qualifications
- Lead digital transformation initiatives covering processes, services, and stakeholder experiences.
- Apply digital strategy and strategic planning to support the organization’s mission and long-term goals.
- Oversee IT strategy, technology architecture, systems integration, and digital platforms.
- Manage digital projects within time and resource constraints.
- Work effectively in remote, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.
- Present complex digital concepts to non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Experience in public sector, investment promotion, or economic development is an asset.
