Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum accounting operations including AR, AP, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports accurately and on time
- Ensure timely month end and year end closing activities
- Prepare cash flow statements, working capital reports, and account reconciliations
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor expenses and support implementation of cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, corporate tax requirements, and internal controls
- Handle VAT and corporate tax filings, reconciliations, compliance checks
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Handle billing coordination, receivables tracking, and collections monitoring
Requirements
- UAE experience in healthcare or FMCG preferred
- Strong knowledge of VAT and UAE corporate tax requirements
- Ability to join immediately

Overview
- We are a startup healthcare organization seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to manage end to end accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting support to management.
Chief Accountant Key Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, monthly payroll preparation, payroll approval coordination, WPS finalization, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports accurately and on time.
- Ensure timely month end and year end closing activities.
- Prepare cash flow statements, working capital reports, and account reconciliations.
- Provide financial insights, schedules, and analysis to support management decisions.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and support the implementation of cost control measures.
- Track actual versus budget performance and report variances to management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, corporate tax requirements, and internal controls.
- Handle VAT and corporate tax filings, reconciliations, compliance checks, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure audit requirements are completed on time.
- Maintain proper financial documentation, records, and supporting schedules.
Requirements
- Preferably with UAE experience in healthcare or FMCG, with strong knowledge of VAT and UAE corporate tax requirements.
- Candidates who can join immediately and are on a visit visa or cancelled visa are encouraged to apply.
Pay
- AED 1.00 AED 2.00 per month
