Role Summary
Oversee the company’s complete accounting and financial reporting function.
Ensure accurate books, timely financial reporting, strong financial controls, and compliance with applicable UAE requirements.
Work with senior management and other departments to provide reliable financial information for commercial decision-making.
Accounting and Reporting
- Manage the full accounting cycle and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare bank, supplier, customer, and general-ledger reconciliations.
Payables, Receivables, and Cash Flow
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and outstanding receivables and payables.
- Coordinate payroll-related accounting activities.
Cost, Tax, and Compliance
- Oversee inventory and cost accounting, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
- Manage VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Ensure accounting controls and authorization procedures are followed.
- Ensure accounting records and supporting documentation are complete and audit-ready.
Planning and Analysis
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Provide management with meaningful financial analysis and recommendations.
- Identify financial discrepancies, control weaknesses, and process improvement opportunities.
Stakeholder and Team Management
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisers, and other financial stakeholders.
- Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff.
Pay
- Pay is AED 5,000–AED 8,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
Requirements
- Experience overseeing the full accounting cycle and financial reporting function.
- Knowledge of applicable UAE accounting requirements, VAT, and corporate tax matters.
- Ability to manage accounting controls, statutory requirements, and audit-ready documentation.
- Experience supervising, training, and developing accounting staff.
