Key responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, proof, stretch, and hand-toss pizza dough according to standards.
- Prepare pizza bases, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients.
- Ensure consistency in dough quality, portioning, taste, and presentation.
- Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely.
- Follow production schedules and minimize food waste.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Support and guide Commis Chefs when required.
Requirements
- At least two to three years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar position is required.
- Strong practical experience in hand-tossed pizza and dough preparation is required.
- Knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, portioning, stretching, and baking techniques is required.
- High-volume restaurant, commissary, or central kitchen experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets is required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product consistency are required.
- Teamwork, communication, and flexible-shift availability are required.
