Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the hot kitchen and ensure smooth service.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control.
  • Prepare breakfast, brunch, and café style menu items according to company recipes and standards.
  • Develop creative and innovative breakfast and morning menu items.
  • Prepare Western style sandwiches and light meals with excellent presentation and consistency.
  • Monitor food preparation, storage, stock levels, and minimize food waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on recipes, food preparation, equipment usage, and cleaning procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock control.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding stock requirements, operational issues, and quality improvements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
  • Strong experience handling kitchen operations independently.
  • Experience in both Hot Kitchen and Cold Kitchen operations.
  • Experience preparing premium breakfast and brunch menus.
  • Strong knowledge of Western style sandwiches, salads, and café food preparation.
  • Ability to create new recipes and seasonal menu items.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
  • Experience in inventory control and minimizing food costs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Person In Charge (PIC) Certificate (Preferred).
  • HACCP or Food Safety Certification.
  • Experience working in premium cafés, specialty coffee shops, hotels, or upscale restaurants.

Pay

  • AED 5,000.00 AED 6,000.00 per month
