Food preparation and cooking

Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards

Friendly customer service

Function work and large volume cooking

Stocktake and control

HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations

General kitchen and cleaning duties as required.

Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)

An understanding of Café style food advantageous

Can be highly organised & fast paced

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable

Basic understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
