Job Summary
The Chef de Partie (Pizza) is responsible for overseeing all operations at the pizza station, ensuring high-quality preparation, cooking, and presentation of pizzas according to company standards.
This role involves dough handling, sauce preparation, topping management, and operating pizza ovens efficiently.
The CDP ensures strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, manages station inventory, and supports junior kitchen staff.
Collaboration with the Head Chef and other kitchen sections is essential to maintain smooth workflow during service and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook pizzas to the restaurant’s standards, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Manage the pizza station independently, including mise en place, dough preparation, sauce making, slicing toppings, and maintaining ingredient freshness.
- Operate and maintain pizza ovens (wood-fired, electric, or gas), adjusting temperatures and cooking times as needed.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance, keeping the station clean, organized, and fully sanitized throughout service.
- Monitor stock levels of dough, sauces, cheese, and toppings, and communicate shortages or production needs to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
