Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Measure ingredients and complete mixing, fermentation, proofing, baking, and finishing accurately.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portion sizes.
- Operate ovens, mixers, proofers, and other bakery equipment safely.
- Prepare daily mise en place and ensure ingredients are available for production.
- Monitor baking temperatures, timings, and product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic bakery section.
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and company hygiene procedures.
- Store ingredients and finished products correctly, monitor stock, and minimize food waste.
- Assist with new product development and coordinate with the Chef, kitchen team, and other departments.
- Train and guide Commis Chefs or junior bakery staff when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie - Bakery or in a similar bakery role.
- Good knowledge of bread, pastry, dough preparation, and baking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
- Culinary or bakery certification is an advantage.
- Experience in a café, bakery, hotel, or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Four years of UAE experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 6,500 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
