Monitor security cameras, identify suspicious activities, and help ensure the safety and security of the premises.
The role requires vigilance, responsibility, good observation skills, attention to detail, and prompt response to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security surveillance systems.
- Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, and security breaches.
- Maintain continuous surveillance of the premises.
- Record CCTV footage and daily monitoring logs.
- Report security incidents to the Security Supervisor or management.
- Respond promptly to alarms and unusual activities.
- Coordinate with security guards and relevant departments when required.
- Ensure CCTV equipment and monitoring systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain confidentiality of security footage and sensitive information.
- Prepare daily incident reports and shift handover reports.
- Follow company security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or Security Surveillance Officer is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems and security equipment.
- Good observation and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during working hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
