Job Summary
Seeking a skilled and hardworking Carpenter to perform carpentry work, furniture installation, repairs, and maintenance.
The role covers wooden structures and fixtures and requires technical skills, attention to detail, and independent work capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry work, repairs, and maintenance.
- Measure, cut, shape, and install wood and other materials.
- Construct and repair doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, and furniture.
- Install wooden fixtures, fittings, and partitions.
- Read basic drawings and measurements.
- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain and repair existing wooden structures.
- Maintain worksite cleanliness and safety, follow company procedures, coordinate with workers and supervisors, and perform assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous Carpenter experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to read measurements and basic drawings.
- Good problem-solving and practical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and good attention to detail.
- Relevant technical qualification or vocational training is an advantage.
