Job Description Summary
- Perform service and maintenance activities on customer sites, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage maintenance facilities and technical field services.
- Influence quality of own work and work of colleagues; execute standard operational/technical tasks under instructions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- All activities related to testing and validation of equipment, installation, or plant according to design objectives or operational specifications.
- Expand knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy; may include support roles in specialized technical knowledge areas.
- Basic understanding of key operational factors; good understanding of how own team's work integrates with other teams.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework; solve problems requiring good technical knowledge and discernment.
- Requires good interpersonal relationships; may lead a junior team; develop strong customer relationships and serve as interface between customer and GE Vernova.
Basic Qualifications
- For roles outside US: Basic experience in the function and digital audio workstation knowledge; equivalent knowledge to a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- For roles in US: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of function experience).
