Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager at Melksham Oak Community School in Melksham.
The role is responsible for providing nutritionally balanced and appealing food to pupils and staff.
Compensation
- The role pays £18.50 per hour.
Schedule
- The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- The position is term-time only and works 38 weeks per year, with no weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food to required Caterlink and client standards.
- Maintain statutory and company health, food safety, and environmental compliance.
- Enhance food and service standards and exceed client and customer expectations.
- Run the location day to day, supervise teams, manage inventories, monitor budgets, and implement action plans.
- Act as the main contact for the school client and recommend operational improvements.
- Monitor KPIs and financial targets with the line manager.
- Support and train teams, ensure training completion, and manage performance.
Requirements
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for the role.
