Redington Middle East is seeking a Category Head for Mobile Phones to lead the commercial success and end-to-end ownership of the category in Dubai.

Responsibilities
- Own the end to end Profit & Loss (P&L) for the Mobile Phones category
- Develop and execute annual business plans, sales strategies, and category growth initiatives
- Monitor category performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with global mobile phone OEMs and key vendor partners
- Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, rebates, MDF, promotional investments, and annual business agreements
- Define and manage the product portfolio based on market demand, customer insights, and competitive landscape
- Oversee product lifecycle including launches, pricing strategy, demand planning, inventory management, and end of life planning
- Partner with Sales teams to achieve category objectives across retail, telecom operators, e commerce, enterprise, and channel partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, Business Management, or Commercial Management within Mobile Devices, Consumer Electronics, Telecommunications, or IT Distribution
- Proven experience managing mobile phone brands within an OEM, distributor, or large retail environment
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, business planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and vendor relationships
- Strong commercial acumen with proven success in contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and profitability management

Role Purpose
