Casual Digital Studio Assistant

Job requirements

• Supporting pre-production activities, including sample loans and returns, garment preparation, steaming, studio organisation, lighting set-up and shoot preparation.

• Assisting in the studio with DSLR photography across model, mannequin and flat lay imagery, as well as supporting product video content where required.

• Supporting stylists and models during shoots, including dressing assistance and following styling direction set by the Digital Content Director.

• Assisting with post-production tasks including video editing, image retouching, deep etching, ghost mannequin retouching, resizing, compression and colour correction in line with brand standards.

• Checking image quality, scale, compression, file naming conventions and ensuring content is uploaded and feeding through to the website correctly.

• Supporting product enrichment, product categorisation and the delivery of imagery to retail teams ahead of product launches.

• Following up missing images or image issues and actioning updates as a priority to ensure product content is accurate and delivered on time.

• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming studio environment that reflects ZIMMERMANN’s creative standards.

Job responsibilities

• Strong image retouching and Adobe Photoshop skills.

• A strong interest in photography, fashion, digital content and ecommerce.

• A thorough understanding of photographic equipment in a studio environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of visual accuracy.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience in photography, digital content, ecommerce, fashion or a related creative field.
