Role overview
Alef Group is seeking an experienced Cashier on a temporary basis in Sharjah.
The role supports daily accounting and financial activities, with a current focus on receivables in the MD AX ERP system.
Key accountabilities
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable with the General Ledger and ensure bank collections are accurately recorded.
- Review accounts, monitor client payments, and coordinate with collections.
- Complete data entry, invoice preparation, payment reminders, and collections liaison work.
- Update daily collections across cash, cheques, wire transfers, and credit cards in MD AX ERP.
- Reconcile customer statements and balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Post journal entries, maintain AR controls, and organize historical financial records.
- Support reporting and reconciliations and complete additional CFO-assigned duties.
Education and experience
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration is mandatory.
