The Cashier Specialist provides customer service and accurate financial transactions at the point of sale.
The role is based in a beauty retail environment and requires strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Greet and assist customers professionally.
- Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.
- Follow cash-handling and customer-service policies.
- Coordinate cash desk staff and assist in difficult situations.
Requirements
- Proven cashier or similar experience, preferably in retail.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
- Excellent mathematical and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Passion for beauty and knowledge of beauty products is a plus.
