The Cashier and Categories Associate provides customer service and ensures that retail sales are accurately recorded and processed.
The role handles cash transactions and maintains accurate inventory records in a retail setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
- Answer customer inquiries and address concerns or complaints.
- Record all sales accurately in the system.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including restocking shelves and maintaining displays and price tags.
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash register systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
