Role Overview
- As a Cashier at Calo, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience by handling customer transactions, managing orders, and supporting front of house operations.
- In addition to cashier responsibilities, you will be expected to learn and support basic barista duties, including beverage preparation and maintaining coffee station standards.
Cashier Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Accurately take customer orders and process payments through the POS system.
- Handle cash, card, and digital transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide menu recommendations.
- Promote menu items, offers, and combo deals when appropriate.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.

Barista Support Responsibilities
- Learn and support the preparation of coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Calo standards.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of coffee machines, equipment, and workstations.
- Ensure beverage quality and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Support the café team during peak hours and operational needs.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Support delivery and pickup operations when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health & safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers and coworkers.
