- Accurately process customer orders using the POS system
- Accept payments via cash, credit cards, or digital methods and provide change
- Maintain a clean and organized cash register area
- Assist in maintaining accurate transaction and cash balance records
- Monitor and manage online orders through the aggregator platform
- Apply discounts and promotional offers accurately using the aggregator system
- Communicate customer orders to kitchen staff and prioritize based on instructions
- Manage phone calls and provide menu information
- Upsell additional items to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to resolve customer concerns
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergen information
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service, preferably in restaurant/hospitality
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer operations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays or supplies
